Mark-up and formatting
How do I create links?
This is the most important bit of the wiki - making sure everything is connected and not just flat text. To create an internal link you just need to put two square brackets either side of the page name. If you want the link name to be different to the page name then you need to separate the page name from the link name with a bar. See the guide for examples of how to create

How do I add a picture?
We have disabled the option of uploading pictures directly to the wiki. If you have some free webspace then upload your picture and referance it from your article. If you don't have free webspace then your GM has 10MB of it that he is happy to use - just email him the file and he will put it up for you. To link to the image just include the URL for where it is saved.
How do all these templates work?
By some sort of group think we have deided that templates are cool. They are perhaps an easier way to create a table than the long hand way. There is a dedicated help page on Encumberance Ledgers.
Linking to other wikis
Can I make links to Wikipedia?
- Yes! Simply start your link with [[Wikipedia:]], for example: [[Wikipedia:Role-playing game]] produces Wikipedia:Role-playing game. If you don't want the Wikipedia: prefix to show, simply end your refernce with a vertical bar. For example, [[Wikipedia:Ugg boots|]] produces Ugg boots.
What others magic wiki prefixes exist?
- Check out the interwiki map for a list of potential prefixes. Only a subset of these are active.
If there is a site that we link to often, can we have a magic prefix enabled for it?
- Yes, just contact Paul and ask nicely.
Is there a list of FAQs?
Now that you mention it, there is! The FrequentlyAskedQuestions cover why this site exists and why you could not manage to log in if you are not a player in the game.
